Connect Us and Rocky Mountain Human Services present:

Raising Socially Connected Kids... Plus Interactive Program for Kids

When: Saturday, December 2nd | 9am - 2pm

Where: Rocky Mountain Human Services, 9900 E. Iliff Ave., Denver, 80231

Cost: FREE and lunch included!

Workshop is designed for adult family members/care-takers of any child struggling with social interaction and making friends. This includes typically developing children and children diagnosed with high functioning autism, ADHD, sensory, learning or any other developmental challenges.

Kids ages 3-13 will join their peers in age-based groups led by our phenomenal, fun loving facilitators. They'll enjoy physical, creative and collaborative play in a friendly and nurturing environment.

In this workshop you will learn...

  • How do you improve your relationship with your child?
  • How can you help to improve their relationships with others?
  • Do you know if you're picking the 'right' battles?
  • How do you prioritize your child's needs?

You'll learn skills to creatively improve your child's social connectedness. You'll take away practical information to help your child make friends and develop meaningful relationships. Together, we'll create the toolkit you need to:

  • Set healthy limits and boundaries
  • Prioritize your child's goals
  • Help your child become a confident, flexible thinker and problem solver
  • Create a balanced, peaceful, home environment that aligns with your family's lifestyle
