SUMMARY:Memory Cafe: Reconnect Dance Community
DESCRIPTION:Memory Cafe is a fun place to socialize\, relax\, and engage with people experiencing memory loss and their families/caregivers. Each cafe has a focus—such as music or art—to facilitate the main goal\, which is a social connection for individuals with shared experiences. At the Memory Cafe\, you can just be yourself — without worrying about remembering or forgetting. \nTheme: Reconnect Dance Community \nDescription: Reconnect Dance Community is a physically-integrative dance company. This workshop will feature a beginner-friendly class where participants can follow along with different teacher-led movement explorations\, letting go of expectations and dancing for fun. No dance experience is needed! Art as Action\, believes that everyBODY is a dancer’s body. We’ll celebrate modification of movement and treat everyone as the expert of their own body’s needs.
