DESCRIPTION:Memory Cafe is a fun place to socialize\, relax\, and engage with people experiencing memory loss and their families/caregivers. Each cafe has a focus—such as music or art—to facilitate the main goal\, which is a social connection for individuals with shared experiences. At the Memory Cafe\, you can just be yourself — without worrying about remembering or forgetting. \nTheme: Colorado Symphony Performance \nDescription: Join members of the Colorado Symphony as they share the joy of familiar tunes and timeless classics in an engaging and interactive session. Participants will enjoy live music featuring well-known songs designed to spark fond memories and encourage gentle participation through singing\, clapping\, or simply listening. \nThis class also includes a Q&A\, where the musician will share stories\, answer questions\, and connect with residents on a personal level. Whether it’s reminiscing about favorite songs or learning more about the music itself\, this experience is sure to inspire smiles and meaningful moments.
