The Colorado Respite Coalition (CRC) is an allied network of families, agencies and community partners working to strengthen and support caregivers of individuals with special health care needs. The CRC strives to expand respite services in Colorado for all ages, across the disability spectrum.
The CRC is housed at the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Easterseals Colorado, which partners with individuals and families to reduce the impact of disability or health challenges and to enhance quality of life. The CRC is primarily funded by state and federal grants, with oversight by the Colorado Department of Human Services - State Unit on Aging.
The 19th National Lifespan Respite Conference is hosted by the ARCH National Respite Network in collaboration with the New York State Caregiving and Respite Coalition (NYSCRC) and the New York State Office for the Aging. The conference theme is Illuminate Respite and it will be held in Buffalo, NY, the "City of Light," April 30-May 2, 2019. The goal of the conference is to shine a light on the respite needs of the nation's 43 million family caregivers across the U.S. who care for their children, parents, siblings and other family members with disabilities, illnesses, chronic conditions, or other special needs.
According to AARP, an anticipated $17.2 billion of future market opportunity to protect the quality of life for family caregivers will include respite and backup care, social support, health and wellness, and financial/job security. Demonstrate and market your leadership in the field of respite and family caregiving -- consider becoming a conference sponsor or exhibitor. There are many exciting sponsorship opportunities with benefits to choose from!
Audience: We expect 200-400 participants from all over the US and Canada to attend. Conference attendees will include individuals from national, state and local government agencies, private national and statewide organizations, community and faith-based agencies, businesses, policymakers, family caregivers and consumers.
Benefits of Sponsorship: In addition to reaching the movers and shakers in the respite service, research, and policy arenas at the state and national levels, as well as family caregivers and consumers, there are many other benefits to supporting the conference. Free registration, exhibit tables, and optimal ad placements are available at various levels of sponsorship.
