Respite care is a service to support caregivers and does come with a cost. Most respite providers typically charge an hourly rate or a flat rate. There are a variety of government, community, nonprofit and individual funding streams available to pay for respite services. Thanks to a generous grant from Rose Community Foundation, the Colorado Respite Coalition created a guide to help individuals navigate the respite care system and funding streams in Colorado.
