At last….AIR!
Coming Up for Air is back! On April 11-13, Colorado Respite Coalition will be hosting a low-cost respite weekend for kinship, foster, and adoptive families.
Take a well-deserved break while your kids enjoy a fun-filled weekend at camp! This family-oriented respite weekend is designed for kinship, foster, and adoptive families with children ages six and up. While campers and their siblings participate in recreational activities under the care of trained staff and volunteers, parents and caregivers will have the opportunity to connect with one another, learn about valuable resources, and enjoy some well-deserved time to relax.
What to Expect:
- Saturday Morning: Parents attend engaging workshops covering topics like stress management, financial tips, and self-care while children participate in dance, yoga, art, and outdoor activities!
- Saturday Afternoon: Parents get the afternoon off. Unwind by exploring camp, driving to Georgetown, reading, or simply relaxing. An optional social hour with refreshments begins at 5 PM.
- Saturday Night: Families come together for an evening of s’mores and campfire fun.
- Sunday Morning: A family-friendly activity wraps up the weekend before checkout.
