Memory Cafe: Sage Out & About Choir Performance

Memory Cafe is a fun place to socialize, relax, and engage with people experiencing memory loss and their families/caregivers. Each cafe has a focus—such as music or art—to facilitate the main goal, which is a social connection for individuals with shared experiences. At the Memory Cafe, you can just be yourself — without worrying about remembering or forgetting.

Theme: Sage Out & About Choir Performance

Description: Celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride with Sage Out & About, a small choral ensemble affiliated with Sage Singers, the first LGBTQIA+ chorus for older adults in the nation (www.sagesingers.org).

Sage Singers was founded in 2018, with the mission of celebrating the lives of LGBTQIA+ elders through story and song, and serving and engaging the public by sharing their music. Sage Singers holds three concerts throughout the year, while Sage Out & About shares their mission with the larger community. Out & About has performed at libraries, museums, places of worship and more!
