Day Programs Work Services are provided in work centers and are designed to teach skills and techniques of work while earning commensurate pay. Specialized Habilitation services, also referred to as non-integrated activities, are non-work programs within the center which offers training in basic skills such as communication, socialization, and self-care. Integrated Activities are provided to integrate individuals into typical activities and functions in their community. Non-Integrated Activities engage individuals in a variety of functional activities emphasizing in skill development, and training in the areas of communication, socialization and self care. These services are provided in a segregated setting. Supported Employment programs are designed to secure meaningful employment in the community for individuals and provide them a necessary level of training and on-going support to maximize their success.
